I have lupus and some other chronic illnesses. I recently did my lupus bloodwork and my kidney values were good but I am anemic right now. I saw that anemia also causes poor wound healing and other skin issues because of the lack of iron. I wonder if this hs flare has triggered a mild lupus flare or maybe vice versa. I was recently diagnosed last year but realize I have had flare ups for a few years. We just always thought they were ingrown hairs in my groin/pantyline. Currently in the midst of one and I’m miserable. I’m lucky b/c mine aren’t that bad, but I’m terrified of what they could become.
