I'm not currently pregnant (hopefully), i'm just curious. I know stress, depression and many other things can effect HS.

I haven’t become a mother yet and am wondering if this will help my HS, keep it the same or if to expect more flares!

I'm curious if anyone has had success controlling their HS with diet changes alone. What did you do? I've just finished a 2 week round of doxycycline with zero improvement, in fact it seemed to get worse. Ive had the same sore since Nov 2022. I was recently diagnosed and prescribed doxy at a walk in clinic, and my first dermatologist appointment is next week so I'll find out what my options are then I guess. I was diagnosed with a severe case of HS last week. I’m on oral doxycycline, topical clindamycin, and an acne wash. However I’m not and never have been a smoker or overweight. I’ve actually spent most of my adult years underweight from an eating disorder. I’m doing better now with the ED as I’ve just had a baby in September. I’m wondeting if the HS onset could be caused by hormonal birth control. I have the kyleena IUD

I’ve had HS since puberty hit at 11 and i’m 22 now and behind ready to start a family. I’ve had a miscarriage already and I didn’t think it was HS related but while doing a google dive and reading studies(I know i shouldn’t) I’ve scared myself so much.
