Yup! SLE/discoid lupus and HS! π What a freaking fantastic combination huh?! There are meds for the spots. Beware of the side effects of plaquenil. And I found some products at Sephora that help with the butterfly rash. Hang on love! This is a rough ride trying to balance lupus and HS. π I'll answer whatever questions you have to the best of my ability! π€
Kelly a the ambassador does have lupus I think π€ and hs π
I always thought I had lupus as a child dealing with this disease but I wasnβt diagnosed with HS till adulthood. There are a lot of people on here that have other autoimmune co-morbid illnesses, so I definitely feel they are common.
I was told that I would never have children. I have two. They are the joy of my life. I miscarried several. Lost my son's twin. But, here's the thing, I didn't do it! They were simply not meant to be. Both my kids are autistic. My daughter is the oldest and is high functioning, but my son is like a toddler and he is 25 years old. If all my babies had survived, I wouldn't be able to take care of them. I've had to accept that it just was not meant to be, not my fault, and believe that one day I will meet the ones I lost! π Fate, God, I don't know. But I have to believe that there is something better, a better place, than how we're living when we pass. π€
