I've just finished a 2 week round of doxycycline with zero improvement, in fact it seemed to get worse. Ive had the same sore since Nov 2022. Home Remedies to help with abscess/ boil

I have done these remedies with antibiotics as well as without

Warm compresses- warm/hot water as tolerated to affected area with a wash cloth. Re apply several times when becoming cool. Can do this many times until abscess drains. Softens skin.

Epsom salt baths-helps abscess to drain by softening skin. Also helps with pain relief

I have a spot on the side my breast. It is aggravated by friction from my bra and the arm seam of my shirt's. I am sensitive to adhesive tapes and it is a sensitive area. I have used paper tape and a nonstick pad but that doesn’t stay on well. Any bandage recommendations? What do other folks use in sensitive areas? Thanks. ❤️‍🩹
