I know this is probably a weird question... HS has always affected my relationships it’s always a personal problem. I have told two people about some of my issues that are rather unsightly in my underarm. One was totally okay, but the other not so much. I’m just wondering how do you guys deal in relationships? Does it ever get more comfortable or easier?

So my daughter is 12. She had two burst abscess; one healing nicely and the other is slower at healing but it's looking as though it's healing. I had a previous surgery under my arm. Which happens to be my first ever encounter with hs. But tbh I don't remember what I had done. Well anyway I'm going back in to have it looked at again. What is a surgery u have seen done a second go around. I think I had a deroofing? Hi all, I am really struggling mentally at the moment with my HS which is putting a strain on my relationship as he always thinks it’s him no matter how many times I say it’s not and this will pass, it’s just another side effect of the condition. Hi so I’ve just started my journey into finding out if I do indeed suffer from HS. I’ve been suffering for around 20 years but I’ve never looked into an any diagnosis because I thought that was just me. I’ve recently had a pilonidal cyst removed and I’m on a round of antibiotics as my stitches have become infected :(

I have had a 'cyst' for a over a year. It does not drain unless I squeeze it and it is mostly blood. It normally doesn't get inflamed but if it does, it is not major. It only hurts if I try to squeeze it. My derm says it's HS. I'd like to take my chances and have someone lance it. When it first presented, I thought it was an ingrown hair from waxing.
