Has Anyone Else Suffered A Non-ending Outbreak After Having Covid?
A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

I have had out breaks ever since I hit puberty. One or two every pms week, that clear up by the time my period ends. A couple with every pregnancy
Last year I fell ill with Covid and it kicked my butt for months. I had one show up as I got sick. Two more as my symptoms subsided. They all showed up with a period so I really didn’t think much of it. Normal happenings after 20years... But they didn’t go away. For 6 months. Went to my yearly lady appointment and my gyno actually knew what it was… read more

Any Have Problems With Candida Or Blood Sugar?
A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

Im trying to figure out "what" is causing my mast cells to be triggered & keeping this inflammatory nightmare going. I dont smoke, not obese but i DO have chronic pancreatitis. I read that insulin resistancy can play into HS. Ive also had a problem with candida which keeps mast cells inflaming everything. So im curious 'if' my long time gimpy pancreas has caused a blood sugar problem thats causing candida and HS?

Thanks. I think the blood sugar is causing the candida. Which in turn keeps my mast cells triggered and causing constant inflammation. I want sure if anybody on here has candida issues as well?

I'm Not Convinced It's HS
A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

I have had a 'cyst' for a over a year. It does not drain unless I squeeze it and it is mostly blood. It normally doesn't get inflamed but if it does, it is not major. It only hurts if I try to squeeze it. My derm says it's HS. I'd like to take my chances and have someone lance it. When it first presented, I thought it was an ingrown hair from waxing. It is right in the bikini line area. Has anyone had a non-draining, 'flat' cyst that is HS? It is very dark in color. Also, if I do have it lanced… read more
