I’ve had an incision and drain under general anaesthetic on right axilla, but still having issues with that for the past seven months and never healed, so now waiting to hear from a plastic surgeon who has some expertise in HS as that one is still a problem and now my left is also filling up with multiple nodules

Oh no I’m sorry to hear your feeling that way about your body, I don’t like my armpit earthier, I keep them covered up outside the home because even with arms down you can still see the puffiness and scarring. X

Yes, according to the information provided, several members of the myHSteam community have undergone surgery for hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). Here are some of their experiences:

- One member mentioned that the surgery under their underarm went well, with two lesions removed that never returned.
- Another member had a lesion removed above their brow by a plastic surgeon, which also never returned.
- A different member shared that armpit surgery was the best decision for them and it significantly changed their life.

However, it's also noted that some members experienced the recurrence of lesions after surgery, indicating that HS can be a persistently challenging condition to manage even post-surgery.
