Before that I found sanitary towels were great, I would trim down a stick with medical tape. X

Hello everyone! I have a similar question to a lot of others on here. I have used quite a few products and practices:Witch hazel because it's an antiseptic, antibacterial soap, medicated soap, topical antibacterial ointment, not wearing deodorant at night, multiple wash- ups through out the day - outbreak or not, exfoliating scrubs, tea tree oil, green tea cleansing mask, and I just started using Tumeric soap. I'm finding that the outbreaks are a little less often and when they do happen they… read more
That's helpful thank you I have started using it less and less and I have switched up definitely from the aluminum ones to the more natural ones and I find that helps a little
I love my CLN Shampoo (orange label). Keeps bacteria at bay and takes odors away effectively. Doesn’t leave my skin dry either.
I’ve tried lots of brands (Australia) and some irritate my skin less but I cant keep something covered for more than a few days without raw and painful skin. My flare ups are usually in my groin as well which makes things more awkward to cover. Thank you!! <3
Omg my arms are another color bow from all the reacting to the tape. Hate tape!
I was diagnosed w HS a year ago and pcos about a 6 years ago and I’ve doing a lot of research.
I tried using tea tree oil and it helps somewhat but lately I’ve been having flares more often.
I’m currently taking metformin and ibuprofen for pain along w a topical cream for antibiotics and quit smoking weed because I read it exacerbates flares.

Has anyone else had it done and did it improve your condition?🤔
I did hair laser and it did improve my thigh/groin HS.
I’ve never vaped, but smoked for half my life, I quite beginning of march and since had three flare ups, so I don’t personally believe it helps the HS flare ups but supposedly quitting smoking will… read more

Im trying to figure out "what" is causing my mast cells to be triggered & keeping this inflammatory nightmare going. I dont smoke, not obese but i DO have chronic pancreatitis. I read that insulin resistancy can play into HS. Ive also had a problem with candida which keeps mast cells inflaming everything. So im curious 'if' my long time gimpy pancreas has caused a blood sugar problem thats causing candida and HS?
If you're asking about the connection between Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) and blood sugar issues, it's important to note that people with HS may have a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes… read more
