Would you please look this up before getting the next COVID Vaccine:
Article regarding what the COVID vaccine does to HS Patients.
I don't vaccinate no
I started having recurring pimple like boils in groin either right before or right after my 1st covid shot. I can’t remember the exact date because at first they were like pimples that popped didn’t hurt and went away quickly and I didn’t even notice I had one until it popped. But my last pimple like boil on pubic won’t heal completely and I got that one after the vaccines. I had never had a sore in my life that would not heal. I think I may or may not be having mild lymphedema. Well here is a… read more
Most interesting, thanks!!!
Hi Team. Has anyone ever got the Covid vaccines and the Covid Boosters? Also, there's another Covid injection. Would you get that and if not, why not?
I mostly agree with you Kelly. I prefer a natural method, and letting your immune system do what it supposed to. I did have three vaccines, probably out of fear of covid. I live in a sparsly… read more
Has anyone here received the covid vaccine and if so what were your side effects? Did you get triggered? How bad?
I’m fully vaccinated and boosted and each shot made me sick. No HS flare directly but since my stomach was upset and that was stressful I flared a little but not directly related to the vaccine.
I have had out breaks ever since I hit puberty. One or two every pms week, that clear up by the time my period ends. A couple with every pregnancy
Last year I fell ill with Covid and it kicked my butt for months. I had one show up as I got sick. Two more as my symptoms subsided. They all showed up with a period so I really didn’t think much of it. Normal happenings after 20years... But they didn’t go away. For 6 months. Went to my yearly lady appointment and my gyno actually knew what it was… read more
I had flare right before I got any covid vaccinations. Mine was from my own neglect from depression. I had bad asthma before the covid vaccines and both I and my uncle’s allergies cleared up after the… read more
Unfortunately, I've had COVID twice. Both times, I had a major flare-up as I got over it. I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen, or if anyone knows if there is any correlation between the two? (I have one theory, but I'm no expert... however, is it possible that as the virus dies, it uses the skin as one way to exit the body?)
I believe anytime there is stressors on your body a flare up can happen. Mine is stress I get huge painful angry flares in all the wrong places.
How bad was your acne as a child/ in young adult I mean mine was really bad and it was actually no way of actually making it aside I think that was a sign that I might have had that back then I know that it's not like an initial like with autism it doesn't actually appear in test until you're five is it like that with this
Cand, I don't know if I answered this. I had good skin as a teen. Till I hit 19 and got two boils on my face. I went to doc and he put steroid shots and they went away. It never returned on my face… read more
I already have a low immune system and due to start humira in new year, reading up on it sounds scary I have visions of lockdown and bubble life, anyone have anything positive to say?
Thank you all so much, my mind is definitely been put at ease after seeing your answers, love to you all 💕
I have been doing research on a more permanent solution for my HS and found articles saying that the flare-ups stop after you go through menopause. I am going to ask my doctor about getting a hysterectomy for this reason as I am almost 40 and do not want children. I am wondering if anyone else has had success with this? I tried hormonal birth control and it has been a nightmare. Almost a constant period and repeat flare-ups that I did not have before trying the birth control.
HS worsened for me as I started menopause and now that I am post menopause, it is even more horrible!
Hi Alina, some doctors are sure and some aren't, it be nice if they were all in sync about hs but were not there yet, have a great weekend.
