I was recently diagnosed last year but realize I have had flare ups for a few years. We just always thought they were ingrown hairs in my groin/pantyline. Currently in the midst of one and I’m miserable. I’m lucky b/c mine aren’t that bad, but I’m terrified of what they could become.

Dr Resnik at Resnik Skin Institute in Adventura Fl in the US. Just recently have surgery on groin/labia area/inner thigh and left butt cheek. He’s good.

Fatima, Do not know the answer. I took Vivelle patches till age 50 after my hysterectomy. It might would help. My h.s. was not as bad while on them.

38, have a supportive husband, mom of 4, on my journey to diagnosis with HS was humiliated by an OBGYN Dr. and told I probably had herpes and a dishonest husband. I have yet to find a Dr. who I feel truly wants to help me. Sick of this condition effecting and at times controlling my life.
