I was recently diagnosed last year but realize I have had flare ups for a few years. We just always thought they were ingrown hairs in my groin/pantyline. Currently in the midst of one and I’m miserable. I’m lucky b/c mine aren’t that bad, but I’m terrified of what they could become.

I have had a 'cyst' for a over a year. It does not drain unless I squeeze it and it is mostly blood. It normally doesn't get inflamed but if it does, it is not major. It only hurts if I try to squeeze it. My derm says it's HS. I'd like to take my chances and have someone lance it. When it first presented, I thought it was an ingrown hair from waxing. Nope! HS isn't infectious so it can't be passed from person to person.
Looking for affordable but proven over the counter treatments others have used. I know everyone is different but has worked for you? 💖 Also bandage/dressing for the area? Cheek area specifically. Sorry to be bother and ask so many questions 😣😵💫
Make your bandage. Get a paper towel (I use Costco brand) cotton ball in the middle, and I use paper tape (Amazon box of 12 forgot $) Vaseline so it won't stick to the skin. Good luck
