I will also provide a link for everyone to read important information below. I have been taking this medication for 2 weeks personally this has helped with my pain, sleeping, not staying up too late, going to bed on time, eating in moderation and my moods are improving along with a little bit of weight loss. I prayed for a solution to help with my HS, and I feel like this would help everyone.

What are your thoughts on low-dose naltrexone (LDN) for managing HS symptoms?

It's wonderful that you've found something helping with your pain, sleep, mood, and weight after just two weeks. Finding relief from HS symptoms can feel like answered prayers, especially when the condition affects so many aspects of daily life.

While LDN shows promise for inflammation-related conditions, it's not currently part of standard HS treatment guidelines. The evidence for LDN specifically treating HS is still limited, so individual results may vary significantly.

Many myHSteam members have explored different pain management approaches:

* NSAIDs like ibuprofen for pain relief
* Biologic medications for moderate to severe HS
* Cognitive behavioral therapy for pain and mood management
* Weight loss strategies, which some members found helpful while others saw no change in symptoms

If others are considering LDN, it's important to discuss it with a healthcare provider who knows your complete medical history. They can evaluate if it's appropriate for your specific situation and monitor for any potential interactions or side effects.

Your experience highlights how individual HS management can be—what works beautifully for one person might not have the same effect for another. Keep tracking your symptoms and stay in close contact with your doctor about your progress.
