Several natural remedies have shown promise in helping manage HS inflammation:

• Turmeric supplements (around 150mg twice daily) may help reduce inflammation when combined with conventional treatments
• Aloe vera can help soothe skin and reduce redness
• Witch hazel may help with itching and swelling (but use carefully to avoid over-drying)
• Warm compresses or lukewarm baths (limit to 10 minutes) can help reduce swelling
• Colloidal oatmeal baths can provide relief (use lukewarm water and soak for 15 minutes) Important note: Before trying any natural remedies, please discuss them with your healthcare provider as they may interact with your current medications. Also, try to avoid excessive heat and sweating as these can worsen symptoms. Consider timing outdoor activities for cooler parts of the day like morning or late afternoon.
