It didn't do anything for me as far as healing or changing the nature of the area I applied it to. For small breaks in the skin, it helps soothe the spot but coconut oil will do the same thing. Perhaps it helps people in early stages but advanced HS - no.

Universal Flare Care Essential Oil-Free - Contains olive oil, beeswax, egg yolk extract, and propolis extract (designed for sensitive skin) To use the salve, clean the affected area with witch hazel first, then apply the salve and cover with cotton gauze. Apply twice daily until symptoms improve. While some myHSteam members report positive results with reduced drainage and pain, others haven't seen improvements.
