I was just recently got diagnosed with hs under my arms by my primary care doctor. I can not get in to see my dermatologist until September. I am struggling to figure out what will help me until I see the dermatologist. I bought panoxly to use and it seemed to help with my flare ups. But now my skin is dry and cracked figured I used it too many times in a row as I have super sensitive skin. I changed my deodorant to dove sensitive because my spray deodorant was making it worse. I have started using Hibiclens, every day and when I have a flare I use my magic healer too. It helps with the pain.

I use Dial Antibacterial AND Hibiclens daily. It helps somewhat. I have a flare up every month regardless that is contained to the same spot every time. I have used a Preparation H which seems to help the swelling. I use Dove Sensitive Deoderant and haven't had an outbreak in my armpits since. Well, not since the surgery to remove the lesions that is and it has been 3 years.

for soap really any antibacterial soap will work i use hibaclense but i know many use the dial antibacterial soap. as for deodorant i haven't used it in about 3 years cuz my armpit flares are too bad so i just put abd pads on and spry my clothes with perfume. with ointment i use a&d ointment and habe been healing very nicely as an added bounce it has a tea tree or eucalyptus smell so it makes good for helping mask the HS smell.

Spray deodorants are typically less irritating than solid sticks. Consider using deodorant at night for better effectiveness. For immediate relief of flare-ups:
- Place a clean, warm washcloth on lumps for 10 minutes to help reduce pain
- Wear loose-fitting clothing to reduce friction and irritation
- Avoid overheating when possible
- Consider using antibacterial body washes to help with odor

Since you work outdoors, try to keep the affected areas as cool and dry as possible. You might need to change clothes during the day if you become sweaty.
