Once I found that Aloe Vera Oil stopped the flare under my arms, that's what I have been using ever since. And guess what, I don't stink. lol. This thing changes our lives in such a negative way. Making us jump through hoops to get relief.

I wear deodorant and seem to do okay most of the time. You may find that there are some kinds that are less irritating than others. I personally use dove advance care deodorant for what it’s worth.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!!!! I’m right here with you. It sucks. It’s very easy to feel ashamed and discouraged and disgusting, but we have no control over whether we have HS so we shouldn’t be hard on ourselves about it.

Try using hibiclens body wash if you haven’t already. It’s antibacterial and can help infection from occurring and causing a flare up. It’s available on Amazon and some pharmacies cary it, you may have to ask for it at the counter.

I prefer and only use spray deodorants/ antiperspirant. I find that the Dove brand is best. However Secret is in the running. I tried the Native brand and it’s a strong runner up, but not my first pick.
