Bad Flare On Inner Thigh
A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

I have a bad flare on my inner thigh. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can bring this to a head to allow it to drain? It's currently purple and very inflamed. I've flared in the exact same spot 4 times in 2 months and it never seems to burst, it just eventually goes away but only with prescribed antibiotics.

Hi, it's a constant thing right now for me but the only relief I get is when I take antibiotics and use Prid, this help bring them to a head for me sometimes.

I just keep powder and gauze on mine to make sure it stays very dry. Should help with tenderness. Moisture seems to trigger them for me. Never tried a poultice. I might have to give that a try. When mine go purple it’s either moisture or it’s trying to tunnel

Bentonite clay poultice. Fatback with gauze and tape helps mine come to a head and drain
