yes I have had inner thigh/groin surgery and the lesions didn't come back in my grown area but I got new ones on one of my labia (vagina lip). The aftercare is rough so please make sure that you have someone that will be okay with dressing those areas after surgery. You groin area will be left wide open to heal on its own and when I tell you its rough, I mean rough. I looked down at the area and just cried like a baby so be mentally prepared for it, if you plan on doing it.

I have had multiple done and post surgery I find it significantly less painful than the flares. It takes some time to heal but i honestly found the surgeries on the outer labia easier to dress than the ones on the inner thigh because your underwear will just hold it in place with the inner thigh ones I found myself wearing fitted shorts under everything g to keep the dressing in place.

I had surgery on my groin done by my general surgeon. I could barely walk when she excised it the first time. It came back within days. My doctor cut me several times. The last time she took out the core. She told me to take the packing out when I took my shower. Wear a big t shirt or night gown so the area will get much air as possible. I did that. My excision area was closed in two to three days. Never had another problem in my groin area. Now the armpits woahhhh. Hope this helps
