I have a lesion that formed on the inside of my left buttock near my anus. It popped when I went to wipe and is very painful to sit now.

How should I care for it until I see my NP at the dermatology office Jan 31st, 2024.

Sitz baths for some pain relief and helps to clean area. Buy 4x4 dry gauze and lay that over your wound without any tape. Your butt cheeks will hold it in place and change it periodically. This will help wick away any yucky stuff and will help with healing the wound faster.
