Some days are harder than others. On those bad days I pop some pain pills. But not everyday because that’s not healthy either. Other days I just grin and bear it.

Jenny.....I have had HS over 40 yrs, but I found my trigger and have had almost no HS since fall of 2022. I tried the keto diet.....it is no sugar and no carbs......was hard at first to give up all the carbs...mainly potatoes, rices, breads and pasta, but my HS is pretty much gone. I still have one area that leaks, but have another that dried up after being on the diet for about 9 months. I do cheat more than I should, and I'm not giving up celebration dinners, but even when I cheat, my lesion will be small and gone in no time! May be worth a try.....I can help more with it if you need.

On those day I will try my best and get through it. Just hang in there this should past. Also the best advice i ever got and received was to get Vicks vapor. Rub put it on the surrounding area in a day or two your sore should open. But the vicks on every hour until it opens up. Also it blocks the smell when it pops too.

OMG Shane, I never realized you were fired. I wonder if you can also get legal aid and go after your old employer for lost wages! In Canada they cannot fire you for medical reasons. They have to find you a job that is light duty that you can handle with whatever your illness is! I am happy you were able to get on disability. I think you were also trying a new drug??????? Did that work out??
