honestly i let my partner get to knkw me without the telling him about it till i knew we were gonna be super serious, but if you are planning on being intimate with them right away then yes tell them upfront or really wair till you are comfortable. only man children will see your skin before your heart. I do know it's hard to navigate especially in this day and age when all men want is for a woman to have a great body and nice skin but we are all perfectly imperfect and unique. it might take a few rejections till you find the one who sees you without making your skin an issue.

well, when i first got this condition, i didn’t know what it was then. everything was so new to me and to my husband as well (we been married for 4 years now!). my husband been there for me ever since i was diagnosed. he’s my support and my backbone!! he knows it ain’t easy for me to deal with this skin condition but yet he reminds me every day how beautiful i am. sooo, i think that if you’re gonna be serious with someone then tell them about HS… this isn’t the worse thing in the world but it sure ain’t pretty! the right one will stick up with you and help you deal with this condition. good luck!!!
