Has anyone been prescribed spironolactone if so did it help? Any side effects? I was just prescribed this. My flares seem to come and go hormonally. And are limited to the groin area.

I am currently taking this. Stated it about 2 months ago. So far spironolactone has really helped me. I had 2 flare ups the first few weeks but after that it's been smooth sailing it has even helped me with my periods no cramps what so ever. I have not had any side effects so far

Hi ! I was prescribed spironolactone but it was not a fit for me- lots of side effects (abdominal cramps) and it actually made my flare ups worse.
