I've had two abscess on my tail bone and had to get them lanced and packed for it to heal from the inside out. Had one in 2010 and one in 2013. I've haven't had it return in that area since, knock on wood.

They worked for 2 days I would feel great then just back to pain

The shots never works for me and they just ended up having to open it🤦🏾‍♀️

I’ve had steroid shots in my armpit, groin area and inner thighs. I could barely walk into the appointment and after the shots I felt like a new woman...I hadn’t seen my skin that clear in YEARS...I did have some pain after the injections but I was able to walk out the appointment with very little pain...I’d say in 2 days everywhere she injected was smooth skin.

If it’s NOT the cyst, I’ve had steroid injections for some of mine and I’d say completely worth it. Mine were down in the VJ area, so it’s a bit unpleasant, but def helped calm it within a day. OR helped it burst and that helped. ❤️
