I have an open boil from a spot about the size of a nickel or so. I have tried bandaids, gauze and tape and nothing stays. Any suggestions what will help since it is all the way open and very painful when I move my arm around. Maybe just going to the doctor would be best, but not sure how my dermatologist is seeing patients since Covid has hit. Any ideas would be great! Thanks.

I actually use a panty liner and I attach a gauze pad to part of it most of the time. The other portion gets attached to my clothing. That way the gauze will not come off.

If that doesn’t work try a brand call medipore tape or fabric tape... I got a roll from work and they both stick with my gf under arms and thighs

Is it under your arm? I would use gauze and an ace Bandage to hold it there. Have someone help you wrap it. I use this technique on hard to reach places. Also Tagaderm bandages on Amazon work. They are surgical. You can use gauze with them too and they are waterproof. Keep that open one protected from infection. Then you’ll be on antibiotics - we don’t want that.
