I'm alergic to Bactroban and topical antibiotics. Also I can't take any oral antibiotics....
I was diagnosed with a severe case of HS last week. I’m on oral doxycycline, topical clindamycin, and an acne wash. However I’m not and never have been a smoker or overweight. I’ve actually spent most of my adult years underweight from an eating disorder. I’m doing better now with the ED as I’ve just had a baby in September. I’m wondeting if the HS onset could be caused by hormonal birth control. I have the kyleena IUD
Contracted this beast after losing 60 lbs.
I've seen where people have recommended and sworn by organic cold compressed castor oil. Others have recommended manuka honey.
I’m not trying a 9th different antibiotic and was just wondering what worked best for who
Cosentyx. It has less side effects than humira with same results. The laser hair removal is definitely something I'd like to look into too for certain areas
It might surprise you to see the symptoms of staphylococcus areus infection, I believe doctors are wrong about origin of hs just Google this bacteria, I've been told it's what caused my hs by doctors years ago, see what you think.
Matthew 2, I took doxycycline in different doses, but think I also became immune. It no longer helped at all. Asked for Bactrim and it did seem to help, but still not completely cleared.
Hi Alina, some doctors are sure and some aren't, it be nice if they were all in sync about hs but were not there yet, have a great weekend.
I currently have a flare and go to the doctor tomorrow. I’m almost sure they will recommend antibiotics. Several years ago I got a bad colon infection (c.difficile) from taking antibiotics and have had IBS and other gastro problems since then. I was wondering what other people’s doctors are saying about being on antibiotics long-term and gut health. Do you use probiotics regularly?
I have stage 3 and have had many surgeries, the last I 2016. I was mostly flare free after that until about a year ago, so now trying humeria. Any input would help.😊
I'm just praying that this will help. I'm not sure what to expect or a timeframe, guess my Dr. will let me know
