Have to agree with you on that. My partner and I have been together 19 years. I was diagnosed with hs 6 years after we met and he's very supportive. It's worth finding right person of you can.
If you truly have a real connection and you are honest then they will always love you for you abd the HS won't matter
I've only had one partner complain about it and it wasn't the HS, it was how i was addressing extra moisture. The soft tissues I would use would leave tissue lint. Very small but before I knew what it was I would wipe obsessively and put tissue to soak up moisture throughout the day because I didn't like the feel of pads. That is until I came across Always brand cotton pads. But she was frustrated that I wasn't just always ready to go and needed to shower or always felt like I needed to shower before intimacy. My wife of 9 years has always been supportive and never made me feel like I'm gross or unappealing. She continues to flirt and be playful and intimate. She knows I am self conscious about it but she never personally makes me feel self conscious. Over the past twenty years I've had about 6 relationships and other intimate partners and never had an issue other than the one. I say all this to say: Give people a chance to be there for you, to love you and be intimate with you. If your partner is critical of something you cannot control, they are not the partner for you. There is a lot more understanding partners where it's not a blip on the radar. You will find your people, don't give up on love.
Facts yes 💯 sir please 🙏 🙌 believe I've meet my lady 3 years ago and she has been on my team since day one she found out and read about my hs. She has a medical field background so she's very patient compassionate and chick's dig guys with scars she says lol.
That's such a real and vulnerable question, and it deserves an honest answer. The short version: it's not always easy, but it absolutely happens — and more often than you might expect.
