I have just been diagnosed a month ago with mild HS and wanted to ask if it will for sure get worse?
I have just had my first under arm experience a few weeks ago but it wasn’t too bad and no bumps opened or anything. I am worried it’ll get worse and I don’t know what causes the flare ups. I eat pretty healthy and have been dairy free for years because I’m lactose intolerant. So I think sugar might be a cause but I’m not sure. Any suggestions on how to narrow it down? Sugar is definitely a factor for flare ups for me. But I don’t go completely without it. I just know it’s a risk. Sometimes I’m ok and other times I know I’ve pushed too far. Sugar during flare ups makes it worse for sure I think.
