Was just given a loose diagnosis of HS at urgent care, VA clinic, and ER. I was also told that I have a secondary bacterial infection. The urgent care drained one spot and put me on Doxycycline but didnt do cultures. VA sent me to the er a few days later when a second spot got much larger and more painful. ER didnt do anything but add extra meds and tell me they "assume" the bacterial infection is probably staph but they don't want to drain the second spot and just let it go on its own. They… read more
