Ladies just be careful when using a peel. This might not be the best solution it may make it worse. Once again I would check with my HS dermatologist.

Mariyah,
I was thinking of using one of those peels that I used as a teenager. The gooey stuff that dries then you peel it off like skin after a sunburn lol.
I have a black head in my arm pit...... I think I'm going to go for it and see what happens.
Most of my hs care has been trial and error for decades. So I'm just going for it

Using traditional chemical peels to "pull out" HS blackheads isn't recommended and can be risky. HS blackheads are different from regular acne blackheads—they're caused by inflammation in hair follicles, not just clogged pores.
However, there is one specific treatment that shows promise: 15 percent resorcinol cream. This is described as a chemical-peeling agent, but it's used very differently than spa peels. Your dermatologist would apply it directly to specific lesions rather than treating large areas.
Research shows resorcinol can help with:
* Faster healing of HS nodules
* Shorter flare-ups
* Less pain during outbreaks
It's crucial to avoid do-it-yourself peels or spa treatments for HS. Because HS lesions can be open or draining, harsh peels can cause chemical burns, worsen irritation, or lead to infection.
Always talk to a dermatologist who specializes in HS before trying any acid-based products on affected areas. They can evaluate your skin and determine if resorcinol or other targeted treatments might help you safely.
