I used Mupirocin ointment and Vaseline I also get kenalog injection. I heard destin paste work well but I haven't used it yet just on the groin where I had Deroofing surgery.

JuicySenior, My dermatologist has prescribed me Clindamycin topical treatment that helps some. I apply it with nonstick bandages and let it stay. It must be very hard to have anemia and h.s. God bless.

I get mine in my groin. I keep them clean and soak them twice a day with warm soaks. I also keep it covered with sterilized gauze. I am on 100 mg. of doxycycline daily. I also use a triple antibiotic that is mupirocin, which makes it seems cooler and less bothersome. It is a prescribed antibiotic cream. I assume you are going to your dermatologist: does he specialize in HS?
You really want someone who does.
