It may be a bartholins cyst. That is exactly the place you’re describing.

I suggest..Taking a Sids bath.. aka a bath with epson salt and get the water as warm as you can take it add some Epson Salt and soak.. 10 to 15 min max and you will feel so much better, it will soften the leason so it won't be so tight and have less pain and eventually it will drain..

How can you help a 2-month-old hard flare-up on the labia drain?

A hard lump that hasn't drained for two months needs careful attention. You generally shouldn't try to pop or squeeze it yourself, as this can spread bacteria and make things worse.

Here are some home care options that may help:

Warm compresses can encourage drainage:
- Soak a clean cloth in warm water
- Apply for 15-minute intervals
- This helps ease pain and inflammation while potentially helping abscesses drain

When to try ice instead:
- If the area is really painful and you want to calm it down rather than open it
- Ice can reduce inflammation when it's too early for heat

Gentle pressure technique:
- If you can see a head forming on top, you can try gentle downward pressure around the edges
- If it doesn't drain easily on the first try, stop immediately
- Squeezing too hard causes more inflammation and pain

Pain relief:
- Ibuprofen is often recommended for HS-related pain
- Wear loose, breathable clothing like cotton to reduce friction

Since this has been present for two months without draining, it's important to contact your dermatologist. They can evaluate whether you need antibiotics, other medications, or a minor procedure to help drain it safely.
