I think it turn to Cellulitis or Dermatitis what was the outcome and treatment?
Been in hospital 3 separate occasions after being admitted straight from a.e.dept onto stu unit for surgery ..second time had to call ambulence as I was terribly ill but didnt know had sepsis..was in 8 days .then in October I was in again for 3rd op ..was re opened from other surgery to drain ..again..the healing process is cruel and long was in 7 days on October
Please be mindful to keep an eye on all open wounds and infections to avoid these hospital episodes ..its cruel xxx
Mines turn into Dermatitis and multiple abceses
Not exactly from the hidradenitis itself, but from a lifetime of being on antibiotics and a very stressful time in my life. I was in for what they thought was c. Diff, a dangerous form of colitis. However, testing showed that it was colitis and severe dehydration. I was very weak.
Has your HS gotten so severe that you needed hospitalization, possibly from cellulitis?
