Members shared their personal experiences with Humira for HS, with many noting it worked for a period of time before losing effectiveness, and most reporting only mild side effects like dizziness and nausea. Several members described moving through multiple biologics over time, including Cosentyx, Bimzelx, and clinical trials, with one member noting a liver concern after three years on Humira and another experiencing heart failure after long-term infliximab use. A recurring theme was that treatment is very individual, financial assistance programs are available directly through manufacturers, and the community encouraged staying hopeful while working closely with medical teams.

Hello I've been on Humira it was ok but not too effective for me. It depends on the stage you have. Ive been on Humira, Cosyntex, and now currently Bimzelx. Everyone is different but I didn't have many side effects from any maybe some dizziness and nausea from time to time.

I took humira after years of infliximab which had been working only the cost was too much however it proved to be a disaster! Reversed my HS had to stop after 12 months and go back on infliximab only to find now it has given me heart failure so I’ve had to stop and go into Bizekizimab

1 year. I was on Humara. I did better with that but my Dr didn’t like what my liver enzymes were showing.. Both are expensive BUT. You can call the company and get financial assistance that will pay for it. And it’s delivered to your door
