I really hope it works for you. My heating pad is one that is flat and has strings on every corner. I like it because I can like squish it in any of the areas besides my nether region. I have only had one of two really small cysts there once or twice. Still extremely painful. I understand about the armpit though. My left armpit has them from my upper arm all the way down to the bottom of my armpit. Alot of times all I can wear are tank tops without sleeves. Does anyone ever have cysts that even though they heal they still ooze a clear thick fluid alot of the time. My dermatologist told me that several people with stage 3 go through this. I keep a microfiber towel handy for that reason. Alot of times I get down on myself and feel gross because of this but it keeps the fluid from ruining alot of my clothes and me from having to change alot. I have never heard of anyone else talking about having places that constantly ooze the clear thick fluid. Have you?
The hardest areas for me are my armpits in particularly on the right side. I try to use a sanitary pad that I can cut to whatever size the opposite side of the cyst is so when it leaks it will be covered by the opposite side of the arm pit.
I just realized that I am going to use my bean bag heater next time. Put a large badge around or on it. I can then micro heat the whole pad and then arrange it under the armpit to fit the area. It sure would eliminate time and make it real easy to move it around to where ever needed.
I am going to try it tonight since I really do need one. I'll let you know how it goes.
When choosing deodorants with HS, it's important to understand that antiperspirants (which reduce sweat) may be more helpful than regular deodorants that just mask odor. Clinical strength deodorants, particularly newer zirconium-based ones like Secret Clinical Strength and Dove Clinical Protection, tend to be less Show Full Answer
Thank you for that information.
I agree about using ones without any scents. Also about using it at night and being very careful not to get any on any cysts that are coming up or open. I have alot of them under my left armpit and I can't really use any deodorant on that side. I am in my 50s and I have night sweats. This may sound weird but at night and sometimes in the evening I have a microfiber towel that I use to swipe the areas that secrete excess fluid or "sweat". Does anyone else do this?
