I had a surgery on both underarms. It’s great at first then eventually I did get flare ups but not as bad as before surgery. Within 8 years after surgery I’ve only been cut once from a boil a that wouldn’t bust. And lots of little flares that are manageable and that are not in the scared areas. Hope this helps.
