Im using knit panties, adominal pad ( these cause rashes though if you dont xhange it often enough) wicking sheets with Hydrogen peroxide because im allergic to silver. Bacitracin and for the edges i occasionally use a steriod cream or fungal cream.
Removable shower heads are very necessary unless you have a budet.
Lots of babywipes for your butt.
Stock up on Vashe. Take as many of those home you can!!!
The VA will not order it for me :(
You hopefully do not have as many allergies as me and have better options.
Like bandages with silicone and silver.

My third time getting it done I let a doctor expirement and it was the best so far for me.
He tried skin grafting but my body dissolved it but 7% did take which sounds small but it was huge for me. We litterally filled the wounds with bacitracin. Im sure there are better options because I am allergic to so many treatments. I had new skin growth till my next infection that ate it all. My skin was dissappearing and Im told its just a flare.
Dont let doctors blow you off. If you get healing it doesnt dissolve away!
