Hey there! I had a wide excision on my left arm put with skin graft. I ended up getting infection post surgery due to the initial (small) wound vac failing. Once I rented a big wound vac and was on iv antibiotics, it cleared up. It was about a 4 month recovery, but totally worth it! Definitely have it done by a plastic surgeon who is experienced with HS.
