In Colorado, usa, they will gladly try and 'help' you, but I've yet to find someone with any experience in FIXing the problem. Only partial success with symptoms, and that comes with a cost. I can't answer your question, and I have the same one.

Finding a doctor who understands Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) can be crucial for effective management of the condition. Here are some tips to help you find the right healthcare provider:

1. **Get Informed**: Educate yourself about HS to better understand what kind of specialist you might need. A dermatologist is often a good starting point.

2. **Seek Recommendations**: Ask for referrals from your primary care physician or any healthcare professional familiar with your condition. You can also reach out to local or online HS support groups for recommendations.

3. **Check Credentials**: Once you have a few names, check their credentials, experience, and reviews. See if they have experience specifically with HS.

4. **Prepare for Your Visit**: When you visit the doctor, go prepared with a list of your symptoms, how they affect your life, and any previous treatments you've tried.

5. **Evaluate Your Comfort**: It’s important that you feel comfortable with your doctor. They should be empathetic, listen to your concerns, and involve you in decision-making about your treatment plan.

Remember, it might take visits to multiple doctors to find the one who best understands your needs and whom you feel comfortable with.
