I am around the same dose as you on the Cosentyx and to me I'm seeing improvement verses when I was on Humira. Back about a month a month or so ago I was flaring so bad my dermatologist decided to change me and I am thankful because mine's no where near as bad as it was. I also use the clidimycin pledgets, they are pads like the stridex for acne, twice daily, i have a cream that they give me but can't think of the name of it right now to put under my stomach area and all, spirolactone and metformin daily, and I also do the weekly bleach baths. I've also found that taking the high dose weekly Vitamin D helps too.

I am in the same boat but we can paddle together. ^_^ try to stay as positive as you can. I know how hard it is. I really do. My right armpit is the worst atm. See what a little more time does. I take my third dose tomorrow. I am noticing very small changes so far but at least not in the agony I was before I started. I am still in a lot of pain and itching like crazy but hoping for more relief soon. *hugs*

I am just in so much pain I can't take it anymore. I am not a suicidal person, but if I can't get relief that may change. My quality of life is almost zero. I have it in my groin, around my anus, and my upper inner thigh. The thigh is the most recent, worst, and most painful area. I felt like I could manage it for the most part before that, but the thigh is unbearable. I'm only 5.5 weeks in on Cosentyx. I've noticed perhaps 10 to 15% reduction in drainage, but no change at all in pain and itch, or number of instances. My Dr. seems so positive that I will see results quickly, but it's good to know it could take up to 16 weeks. Thanks for that info.
