I believe so. Because of the severity of the chronic pain, I qualify for a medical marijuana card in my state, and, I now can grow to aid in my use of pain relief and management. I am thankful for opportunity to use alternative medicine practices. It is definitely worth the effort to establish care.

My dr just told me the same thing that I need to apply.

Shane thank you for sharing. That’s good to know. I’m sorry you have had to do it, but I’m glad you are able to get some help with it.

I think it could be considered a disability, especially severe cases. I seem to remember reading a thread on here where someone said they were able to get disability benefits for their HS, but it took a lot of effort and time to get it done. It might be worth checking into.
