Thank you so much I will try that. I'm a control freak so I don't like taking anything that messes with my mind and granted yes the hardcore pain meds they give you at the ER is fine but to go home and live life in a fog....no thank you and then if you end up having to be on them for awhile your body gets addicted and then you go down the rabbit hole. It's happened to my brother and couple friends. Not shaming anyone who needs them. My husband does and so does my mother in law...but it's done on a controlled basis. So when you have to go to the ER for pain meds the only thing they can offer is to send you home with those....come on its 2024 there has to be more then that. We can transplant organs but we can solve pain management. Sorry just venting lol

Finding a new doctor is my least favorite thing. I’m so sorry you are in a tough spot with insurance too, it makes things even more tricky. If you can’t get any help with relief for pain from the ER or a dr, you could try a numbing ointment. My kid’s pediatrician recommended Calmoseptine for blistered bleeding oozing weeping diaper rash from hell, and it works wonders for helping that heal. I’ve used it on HS flares or painful rashes I’ve had and it really helps with the pain and the healing. The downside is it is messy stuff. It can burn a little for a minute until it kicks in. It’s only about 8 bucks for a decent size tube. Pharmacies usually keep it behind the counter just ask for it. Amazon and Walmart Cary it. Best of luck getting the relief you need https://a.co/d/5PbUqbr

Sadly I live close to a city that is known for people with drug problems so our local ER is very cautious when people say they are in pain. (Rightfully so) I also suffer from large cysts on my ovaries which has caused me to have several surgically removed. So when I went to the ER cause of them it was something they could see and understand.. with this my fear is the dr won't know enough about it and look at me the wrong way. Granted I could just do my normal line....I'm here cauze the pain is unbearable please drug test me in everyway possible and then please give me the strong stuff. Saldy I don't have a dr right now since i lost my insurance. So I'm trying to find one that takes medicad

Also, sounds like you’re having issues communicating with your HCP. If so you need to look elsewhere. Why wouldn’t they believe you?
