My doctor put me on Metformin for my HS, my system couldn't handle it so I researched alternatives for metformin to find that it also comes in a natural plant form, called berberine. When I started taking it 4 months ago I was stage 2 on the verge of stage 3 and now because of the berberine I have had no lesions for months and I also have less grey hair now too😊Talk to your doctor and do your research before you try... Metformin is for diabetes. I've been on it for over 10 years and I contracted HS 3 years ago. That I don't understand. But I am no doctor.
