Any kind of sugar, alcohol has lots of sugar, is NOT GOOD for HS. Smoking isn't good either. So yes they will not help HS

I quit smoking a few times for more than two years at a time. Nothing changed with my HS. I go for weeks without drinking a single drink and no change, at all. I started vaping and it got worse so now I have an occasional drink and a cig.

Me too was vaping and still am. My boils/lesions are healing so Idk about that. I did stop smoking cigarettes. But I could not tell you if it has any affect. I believe doctors tell us that just to get us to quit. For years my doctor tried to convince me to quit. All I needed was this beast HS.

I don't know but when I got this beast and my doctor said you need to stop smoking, I did it cold turkey. In one day I quit that's how much the pain was kicking my butt
