I'm stage 2, recurring lesions on both sides of my groin area but my surgeon is only removing the tract on the right, (the right side is much worse than the left side) that's where I have had multiple flare ups that required lancing ×2 in three months in the ER because they were so big and painful. Currently taking Doxycycline, topical antibiotics, I'm using hibiclens also.
I had surgery under both arms, i need it on my inner thighs.

Following because I will be having this surgery some time this year.
I just had two surgeries. They removed 2 cysts in the middle of my chest last month. I just had another surgery on my breast 1/16/2024. I still have the draining tube in my breast. I will or I hope to have it removed next month on the 12th. Couple years ago I had surgery on my butt between my butt crack. It got infection and they had to clean it out and pack it. The only thing is surgery cure it for awhile but it will come back.
I've gone through the exact same thing, I have stage 3 HS on the left and right side, upper inner thigh into my bikini line, the pain is so extremely painful, I've been taking Doxycycline for a long time on top of several other medications, and also I use everyday clindamycin typical lotion, and hibiclens. I feel your pain, and if you need to talk, I'm here.
