I was also diagnosed with PTSD and depression from having HS! I’ve been in therapy and see a psychiatrist over 12 years! ! Got approved immediately for permanent disability based primarily on the psychiatric evaluation and HS secondary! They said not employable based on the SSI functional capacity guidelines! If you can barely sit, constant flare ups, surgeries and would have to constantly call off work sick, your job will eventually be in jeopardy!

I'm in Texas and I got it but it was a hell of a struggle and a pain in the ass but hey if you got HS I'm sure you know about pain and struggling good luck to you I consider all of you my HS family we may be a some what of a dysfunctional family but we're family and I love you guys 😙

Yes, I have the paperwork but reluctant to file. Also my Dermy hasn't gotten back with me about filling her portion of the paperwork out. .I'm curious too. If anyone in California has gotten disability please respond. I just started a new job and would hate to go on it this early in my hire.

Yes I could never apply. I can’t go without a paycheck. It’s sad you have to wait so long with out working I get it but how are you supposed to live?
