I work a 8-5. I don't have a wife / SO to help me with complex wound care or recovery. I'm doing this on my own. I just don't know what to expect in terms of how long I'll be out of work for. Maybe I'll schedule short term disability... What happens if I schedule everything with the hospital, and then the day comes and I'm flaring up wildly in the area? Would they just reschedule? Hi Steven. I hope you are doing well today. In regards to your surgery, my suggestion would be, since you are taking care of yourself, by yourself, to table the underarm surgery and just get the groin and pelvic floor surgery done.
