Sasha108, I stayed on it for 8 months and had to quit because I started to get infections. So far, my metabolic rate has not changed and I have not been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. What I did get though was psoriasis which is an autoimmune disease. Even though Humira is supposed to treat psoriasis, it caused it to flare in me. The TNF inhibitor in Humira was something my body needed in other places apparently. I have it on my hands and feet which is awful. It is horrible to get another bad disease while trying to get rid of a disease. Now, I am on Skyrizi for the psoriasis. It is slowly working, but has by no means cured it. The h.s. is better, but is not totally cured as I am currently having a flare. It is so disheartening. I would tell you to be careful and be aware of all the possible side effects.
