This site has a list of dermatologists who focus on HS. Two of my docs I went to were great. Dr Hazen in OH and Dr Resnik in Fl. My triggers were my diet and hormones. I first got signs of HS when I hit puberty. If I knew what I know now at 40, at your daughters age, I would’ve cut out cows dairy or gone plant base, get laser hair removal in areas that HS are known to be in when of appropriate age for it ( I think 14) and take natural supplements for help control my hormones. Birth control pills ironically helped but long term didn’t.
