When I let hair grow in my flare up areas they tend to get worse (pain, lumps and smell) but every kind of hair removal causes additional pain. I feel like I'm stuck in a no win situation.

I still have, not an often, but when I do I use witch hazel with a cotton ball after showering in the areas I shaved. I do this for a few days in a row and it seems to help with flare Ups. I also use witch hazel at the very first sign of one, and have had a lot of success!

Hi Danielle! I haven’t shaved my armpits since my diagnosis. If needed, I use a lady trimmer and trim down close but never all the way.
Hope this helps! 🤗
