Doctors don't know how to treat my H.S. anymore. I've ran through all of the options. The hope is to try to kill the H.S. with radiation. I'm almost always in a constant flare and can't handle it anymore. I guess this is Cleveland Clinics last dicth effort to try to help me before the decide to remove it all. I've looked it on it a little bit and dermatologists have been using radiation more for skin issues. Seems to be a newer possible treatment option.

It must be something new I'm 60 years old I've been diagnosed since I was 11 and I never was involved in radiation doctors never mentioned it to me so maybe it's something doctors are trying or have been trying within the past five to seven 0years I haven't had to flare up in many years so I haven't been to the doctor about it but maybe its something they're trying

My dermatologist has me on a 2/day 100mg dose of doxycycline and Clindamycin on my flare up areas both indefinitely. I won’t complain since I don’t want another flare up I just don’t want to develop any sort of resistance to the antibiotics due to prolonged use.

Have they told you what medicine they would try next if the Humeria isn't working properly?
